lets see...
Kings Island, Skyline Chili, LaRosas Pizza, Barbeque Revue, Mongomery Inn BBQ, hotties all over the place, fun on the river, clean town, almost crime free, barely any illegals, reasonable cost of living, cheap gas prices, nice mix of weather, awesome curvy roads...the list goes on.
lemme know when you wanna visit and I'll show you around.
you sound ignorant when you say **** like that.

Eh..well I pretty much got all of that here except the curvy roads, and substitute a river for the gulf of mexico, and add the beach.
I live about 20 minutes from the beach and we have a condo there that we spend a few weeks out of the summer at, btw.
I'm in pensacola not the crime-ridden alien-infested douchebag playground of miami/orlando

opinions are like...and of course I have one too..lol...
anyway...ATL...NOT my kind of town.
you live in Lawrenceville...thats not ATL.
I would have lived in Lawrenceville, but I did not want to deal with 78 for an hour or so twice a day.
Where I am now, I am living in a VERY nice neighborhood...and I am less than 3 miles from my job. and this place costs less then my POS, crime ridden apartment in ATL.

When it comes to places to live, I think anywhere can be made home. But I think the one thing that happens when you live in a big city, especially certain cities, is that you somehow get used to the crime, the shitty schools, the aweful traffic, and just the total ignorance that exists among so many people. Most cities have nice suburbs, that are extremly expensive and generally require a terrible commute if you work in the city. Most folks who live in these burbs NEVER go into the main city unless they work there out of fear of their life or that the traffic is soo bad, YET, they somehow lament in the pride of telling people they are from Atlanta, or Miami, or whatever.
I currently live in the Twin Cities area now....20 miles east of St. Paul. St. Paul is a nice quiet city and the burbs are great. Minneapolis is mostly a ****-hole. Besides the main downtown area, you would swear you were not even in the US in some places.
As far as Ohio, last I checked there were three cities/towns there that were considered some of the best places to raise a family. People make fun of Ohio because it is in the middle of the US. Those of you who live in big cities might find it boring at first to live in a place like that, but after you have a few kids of your own, you will start to "get it".
While crime is everywhere, there is nothing like living somewhere where most people share the same goals and morality as you. If you want to be a thug, don't come here.
