Default Hunting

Anyone go?

Opening day for Dove started up Saturday over here. So far in the past 2 days I've gotten myself 23 birds.. waiting for pig and quail to start up this year though =)

Took the girlfriend out for her first hunt, she'd never shot before either, that was a fun one lol.

I was using my 20 guage to shoot dove.

Season for Deer already started up here, as far as it goes for bows anyways.

I've done all the rifle and pistol and spear and bow hunting that I really plan on doing on this continent. My .50 is one of those things I don't get a lot of chances to use.

95stang what do you like for bullet selection? I've been liking the 300gr SST's from Hornady. My rifle really seems to get along with them.

30/30 is a great pig rifle. Got a lever action.

And Hornady always produces a very good bullet

deer and dove so far for me. occasionally the hunting of nusiance squirrel (running along side of house, getting into animal feed, etc.) and no i don't shoot them off the side of the house, lol. but hunting really isn't my bag. going shooting is. target, skeet (or clay pidgeons depending on where ur from)

I don't get to shoot hardly at all anymore. I still teach marksmanship to a select few clients so there's some long range practice but not enough to help.

So Bakos,
