Default This was COOL!

so i went to my friends graduation party today (spent ten hours there) and i already knew that his dad had a 1969 Mustang Grande. i had never seen it though. well i pull up to his house and this car is in the driveway. my friend and his dad pull the cover off and my friends dad asks him to move it across the street. my friend said no he couldnt be trusted so his dad threw me the kayes and told me to do it. i said no i couldnt trust myself either. so his dad decides to do it himeself and he gets it in the street and SMOKES the tires. you seriously could not see across the street. it was awesome. im gonna post some pics of tyhe car as soon as i can.

sounds really sweet..but i dont understand why your friend would tell his dad "i cant be trusted to move the car" and then you also did the same thing,? its not like he asked you to take it down the 1/4 and you said, naww id rather not race your car just incase somthing happens

because we honestly shouldnt even have our licenses the way we drive. i didnt want to be the one responsible for damaging the car. bith sides of the streets were packed with cars and with our luck we both probably woulda hit every single one.

It's not really that hard to move a car across the street. If ya can't handle that, I don't even want to see what your driving is like. Glad you live far away.

EXACTLY...i mean if you can come out and tell someone "hey i suck at driving and shouldnt even have my license" thats horrible..i mean its one thing for someone else to tell you "hey you suck at driving" but to be able to say it yourself about the way you drive....you really must suck at driving....driving is difficult somtimes because of the "other" people on the road..but operating and moving a vehicle is simple as long as you know how to use a clutch, brake, gas and most importantly mirrors!!

we are talking about a classic muscle car though. me and my friend are both showoffs with powerful cars. if something did happen to that car i didnt want to be responsible for any damage. and i honestly thought someone would say "Hey kid you did good by thinking smart" ive never had anyone say that to me. lol

so are you like 16 then? thats the only reason i can think of where you would not be capable of moving someone elses classic car into a street without trying to show off.

I'm not drying to dog the guy, i don't want it to be misinterpreted like that either. But if i had a chance to drive a car like that when i was 18 i would have taken it, and not felt the urge to show off in another persons car. Bad driver or not, respecting other peoples stuff is pretty simple.

But it was just across the street. How could you have the urge to showboat when you are just moving it across the street.

My older brother had a 71 Grande when I was a little kid. Sometimes he would pick me up from school in it. He told me that when I saw it was him in the Mustang there to get me my face lit up and I'd start running to the car. heheh...

listen dude, when your dad gets an srt-10 then more power to him, and you should post up some pics. but bragging about something you can't immediately prove or don't have yet is just going to get you flamed on hardcore. People will treat you like that termy bandit douch over on MHL if you talk like that.
