Anyone on Xbox 360 have this game? It kicks ass. Definitely a good racing simulator. Anyways, I played way to long yesterday, but got some pretty kick ass cars. I was given a free 2000 Cobra R and swapped in the Ford GT engine and whippled the crap out of it. After all the upgrades I now have a 931hp Cobra R. The things a beast. Also have a 69 Charger with a 540 Hemi dropped into it.Cool game if anyway is into racing games and has a 360.

im thinking about getting a 360 just for this game....lol...

Send me 60$ and I'll go buy it, I've wanted it since 06 but I have absolutely no ****ing money at the moment :(
I'm selling my original xbox /w 3 controllers and 20 demo discs and 5 games for 60$ to my cousin but I dont know if I want to spend that on a game..lol

It is pretty sweet. You can also swap in the LS7 into the Pontiac Solstice. great game overal with lots of featurs and things to keep you busy

I picked it up yesterday with the wireless forceback racing wheel! its amazing best racing game ive played and the customization is unbelievable!

I've had it for about an hour, im almost done with the proving grounds.. This is a really good game, just wish they would have done a interior viewpoint..

Primarily *nix based, but I do have a windows box or two. They arent "common" to me though.

just bought it today! havnt played it yet but by the sound of it, it is sounds badass! i wondered when they were going to make customization that much better!

you know what i want though...i want to be ale to put different companies exhaust on and it should sound like the way it would on the real car.

Just a little tip for the people who have it. Since you don't really get money for the cars you win, keep them anyways. You can use a lot of them for races so you don't have to waste money to buy some crappy car you need for one race.

same, might have to step it up.. I love the sounds the stangs make with race exhaust and a whipple its sick you can hear it whine!!

I'm level like 21 right now and I have most of the events opened up. I love my Cobra R though. A lot of these early events you can walk away easily, but as you get higher they do get quite a bit harder and more frustrating.

im almost all done with the first rounds..... i only have about 2 hours of playing time so far. i had the game since noon yesterday looks like i need to play more.

Im up to level 16 now...

controller right now.. can't make myself shell out $150 for a controller that I'd ojnly use for one game.. It's bad enough spending $50 for the regular wireless..

It sounds like a badass game but im not gonna fork over that money for an xbox360 and a game. Not to mention, I dont even have an HD-compatible TV.

badass race sim game i have been playing for the 360 that i just cannot stop playing is Test Drive Unlimited www.testdriveunlimited.com

its a racing game with real cars and you free roam through the whole state of hawaii while racing other people on the same server. Super fun game, you get to customize your character, buy houses, cars, all different views, sooooo realist and the physics are realistic.

I don't have a HD tv either.. I do have a ED tv and it looks nearly as good IMO.

My kid has been waiting forever to get this game. His problem (and mine too), is the x-box 360 is a POS. replaced his 4 times since December. Now Best Buy policy is only 1 return per warranty.(60 bucks for that).. We got the intecooler for it from the start but still gets hard drive failure after a month or 2. Anyone else have this issue?? :godamnit:

the intercooler is a POS never use tha tthing.. EVER

Made it up to level 17 last night. Spent about an hour playing around with my LS7 swapped Solstice though :D

No drag strip is gay, and where are all the down and uphill tracks like on Forza 1?

Pull the Intercooler. Make sure the 360 has open ventilation and make sure that the power brick is the right way up. I actually have my 360 laying flat w/ a book underneath it for ventilation to the underside of the console. No failures for me so far.

And that whole 1 360 thing for warranty is bogus. They should take it back even if it is your second or third console. If its inside of your warranty its inside of your warranty. Doesn't matter how many fail. If they fail under warranty then its still their responsibility.

As far as Microsofts warranty, yes, it sucks...hardcore...but shelling out the extra dough for the extended warranty isnt such a bad idea for this console, unfortunately.

My warranty was only like $30 bucks and Gamestop exchanges it no questions asked. I do have to buy the warranty each time, but $30 is better than another $300-400. Yeah don't use the intercooler. You get more problems with it. Latest car I won was the Lingenfelter TT Corvette. I still love my 931hp Cobra R and 680hp midly modded 69 Charger. Anyone do the Heavy Weight race in the Proving Grounds? That race sucks especially trying to use a 3800lb or heavier car.

As far as Test Drive Unlimited goes, I would hardly say its a racing simulator. I own it and while it's fun and all, it doesn't drive like a sim. The best part of that game is just cruising around.

Haven't lost a race yet and haven't bought a car yet either..
