Its all personal preference really. I love my Computer...but its not the same as console games.

I will not buy a PS3...I don't think 600 bucks on a video game system is worth it...you can say it has a Bluray player in it..whoop de do...how many people here own a 1080p monitor?? Not 1080i (which is your standard HDTVs ). Thats the only place your gonna see the true qualities of BluRay...and really since BluRay is single sided...its not that much better than HDDVD which is 720p (1080i). So to me PS3 is a waste.

XBox 360...I may be weird..but Halo is the only game on it that I will want to play....nothing spectacular about it.

Now Wii....I play it all the time...and its great for parties and such...like last night, I took it over to myt buddies place for a party and we played Bowling, Tennis, Boxing pretty much all night long...insanely fun.

I choose to have fun over anything else...and since the Wii is the cheapest of them all...Wii gets my vote

 

ive been playin Wii all weekend! My buddy bought it and just has wii sports and tiger woods. tiger woods is a boring game honestly. boxing is decent but really lagged in movement. its hard to get the punch you want thrown. bowling is fun. my highest score is a 224 and its great with multiple people. I really like tennis too.

however, the graphics are really lame for the games. tiger woods is pixelated like ps1 games. That other game (i forget the name) where you are in some asian country shooting other people is pretty lame as well. graphics are also pretty crappy on that as well. I think nintendo focused too much on being interactive and not enough on graphics. Its fun but it gets repetitive pretty fast.

 

yeah, they could have gone for better graphics......it wouldn't have been 250...but they could have done it.

They said from the beginning that they were not gonna compete in the graphics game...which is fine...you can keep making nice looking games with great graphics...but to me, that doesn't make a game at all...I rate games on fun factor and if it keeps me interested. So far the Wii has.

I love Tiger Woods golf, I don't see how its boring, its just like a real game of golf LOL

 

im gonna buy a wii just for super smash bros....**** me and my buddies still play super smash 64

I based my opinion on Wii against the other consoles on one simple fact: its innovative. I have played all 3 systems, but no, I dont own them. Does it matter? No.
