FINALLY I'm getting my stang!!!

Well today I talked with the guy who is trying to sell me his stang and we agreed to 15K. We still have to fill out paperwork etc and make sure that goes well but it's 95% of the positive this will be my first stang. It's a black 01 Bullitt with brand new Nitto 555's. It also has the 6-CD changer in it! It has 23,000 miles on it and is in near mint condition. It is beautiful. It's bullitt number 4612. Thanks for all ya'lls years of teachin me stang stuff finally after waiting for a stang since i was 10 :clock: I am about to claim a bullitt as my own! Now i can take the knowledge ya'll have given me and apply it to my new beauty! Thanks I am so excited and the deal should be official early next week. :toothy10: :headbang: :usa2:

Not to crap on your parade but according to KBB 2001 Bullit with 23,000 miles in good condition is only worth 13,300.

Maybe its worth more to you but just my .02. No doubt they are sexy but I think hes about 2K too high priced.

Id never pay over KBB private. If you do, you are being ripped off, and the next person will not buy it for 2 grand over KBB if you decide to sell it.

Well NADA lists the car i'm gettin as 18,000 because it has all otions etc. and KBB lists higher than 13,300 with all the otions as well. I think i got a good deal and i really don't need any news about how i got ripped off because as it is we talked the guy down from 17K and I'm payin out the butthole for it. Sorry i'm so grumpy but i just found out that because of my job, cost of car and other things i have lost almost all the money i had planned to use to mod the car. All i can afford to do is the basics of visual mods. It's a happy/sad day but mostly happy at least i'm getting one awesome bullitt. I will post pics after i do some visual mods. :laughing5

Congrats on the car. The Bullit is one of the best looking stangs ever, surely the best looking since 1970.

I love the bullitt's. you'll love the special seats, they are a hell of alot better than the stock GT seats. Also they have the cobra calipers, side scoop delete, and that bad ass intake manifold.

Well these are the mods I will have by the end of the summer performance/visual

Performance:
Magnaflow catback system
3.90 gears
SCT Xcalibrator
K&N Filter
Air silencer removed
Either Nitto 555's or some sort of michelin tire (what's a good performance one?)

Visual:
mach 1 chin spoiler
mach 1 grill delete :icon_fara
50% tint on tailights
window tint
chrome bumper inserts
Chrome license plate frame
a bunch of interior billet stuff.(shift knob,radio knob,e-brake etc.)

Next summer i will do more and throughout the year some more stuff will be added to that list. It turns out i will have some money to do some mods and those were the ones i chose.

Do you have your heart set on a bullit in particular? There are plenty of 03 and 04 GTs around for nearly the same 15K you were going to spend on a 01 Bullitt.

Also you can get a 03-04 Mach 1 for right around 20 or even a tad under that, heck even a 03-04 Cobra for 23-25.
