I guess I feel old now...
I'm 36 now, (B-day on 4/22) and seems like most of my Mustang lovers here are 18-25. I wanted a Mustang back when I was 18 but the dollars were not there. :angry4: Better late than never. :nike:

Turned 30 September of last year... it sucks.
My '01 V6 is the first Mustang I've owned. I must admit that I've been more of a Camaro/Firebird man but I'm liking the Mustang. Seems to be more reliable and mods are more plentiful. But... if they do come out with a new camaro I may just have to trade in the Stang...

We are going off topic here but if you read the article they may not be able to call it Camaro or Firebird, the name may be dead until 2017. The Mustang is americas favorite pony car even a new wanna be Camaro will not change this. If only Camaro fans buy it and not mainstream america then it will be killed by GM again unlike the Mustang that has more appeal just look at v6 sales. The V6 is the money maker and the v8 is to satisfy the hardcore stangbangers. I guess this all goes back to the 60s and american culture when the image of the Mustang was created.

That's very true. Mustangs do out sell Camaros and Firebirds and were doing so at an almost 4 to 1 ratio before the discontinuation of the Camaro/Firebird, at least that's what I heard. But, let's be honest... a Z28 or Trans Am (stock) would rip a stock GT to pieces. In 02, the last year of the Camaro/Firebird, the Z28s were putting out around 315 hp (325 w/ram air) vs. 275 hp for the GT. Ford has always been playing catch up in the horsepower department. Honestly, I love both cars. I think it's sad that Chevy no longer has a low-end sports car that can compete with the Mustang. If Chevy does decide to make that concept vehicle I think it would be worth looking at.

19 at the moment, June 19th will be 20...w00t. My first car was a 1991 Dodge Daytona ES V6...p.o.s. Last November I walked into the dealership and walked(drove) out with my very own 2002 Mustang V6. I'm looking to trade it in for a GT as soon as the snow clears... ::mutters "stupid Minnesota!!"::
