Blue Thunder

I am getting an 02 GT next year these are my plans so far. I plan to spend approx. $1000 on performance parts and approx. $1000 on visual mods.

Visual Mods:

Tail lights, Blue neon under the chasis, various decals, radar detector, chrome inserts for hood scoop, grill, and side scoops, chrome bumper inserts, billet neon shift knob, various interior billet accesories.

Performance:

Tri-ax shifter, 3.73's, SLP x-pipe, K&N Filter, Remove Intake Silencer, C&L plenum, and 75mm TB, underdrive pulleys

I have other plans for after that but those are going to be the mods I get the first few months. Suggestions?? How does it sound??

These are my personal suggestions.

Visual:
Please please please dont get clear, carbon, alteezas, etc etc tail lights. They are absolutely hideous and scream "rice". Neons are OK I guess, thats your judment. No stickers! No reason to put any stickers on your car. Dont do it, I promise it will save you some headaches when people start making fun of you.

Performance:
One thing... there is no way your getting all that for $1000.

Also, you need a chip to fix the speedometer.

Well, unless you are or know someone who is an awesome mechanic, please get someone else to install the 3.73's. There are so many things that you can screw up doing that, it is worth it to pay someone to put them in(granted they know what they are doing). Other than that, lol, I would honestly say scrap everything in the looks department except maybe the bumper inserts. To me, a mustang with altezza or the like tailights is just as bad as a honda with a fart can. NO STICKERS unless its like one from a store you use or something along those lines.
