What can you hang with? Puts things in perspective.

THe auto bug has only caught me within the last 6 months, so when i saw "Fast and Furious" several years back, and vin deisel is telling homeboy "you owe me a 10 second car" i diddnt think much of it. i knew it was fast, but only now am i really appreciating it.

Here is a list of some Supercars, thier 0-60 times an 1/4mile times.

What can you hang with?

Acura NSX, 0-60 in 4.8, 1/4mi in 13.2s @ 105mph MSRP 90,000
Mercedes Benz, SL55, 0-60 in 4.5s , the 1/4mi in 13 flat @110mph, 490hp. MSRP 118,295
Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, 0-62 in 4.8s, 1/4mi in 12.9s, 520hp MSRP 240 MSRP 235,000
Lamborghini Murcielago, 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, 1/4mile in 12.6 @ 116mph, 572hp, MSRP 283,600
Dodge Viper SRT10, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, 1/4mile in 12.0 @ 115mph. 500hp MSRP 82.295
Saleen S7, 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, 1/4 mile in 11.6 @ 126mph, 550hp, MSRP 409,000
Ford GT, 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, 1/4 mile in 11.6 @ 128mph. 550hp MSRP 141,425

This is not a very extencive list, but when you talk about running in the 12's you can keep up with a lot of these.

Damn, that Ford GT is one sweet machine.

take two spark plugs out of the ford gt and pull the belt off the blower and ill show him wat the real gt is made of.. :-)

It's nice knowing I can woooop all of them. I would still give my car, my wifes car, my left nad and maybe my even trigger finger for a GT.
