Default healthy pony?

just heard the comment by a friend who, coincidentally, owns a DSM GS-T, that ford motors are shitty because they blow up. now, coming from the owner of an unreliable car, i chose not to let it get to my head. but are ford motors (specifically 02-04 4.6l) bad or unreliable motors? just got to my head so i decided to post it because its the first time ive heard that said

Well i'm at 90k and the worst thing that has happened to me so far is I blew the tranny but the motor is still running strong. These motors can take a beating they wont blow up unless you really abuse the crap out of them.
