hey guys i will have enough money after this summer to either do cams, suspension work (max. motorsports sport box), or do some looks upgrades (stereo, Mach 2 hood etc.) Which of these should i do to a 02 GT w/5 speed that is a daily driver but is sometimes at the track. The mods i would already have are a tri-ax, 3.90's, plenum, TB, UDP's, longtubes, prochamber, magnaflow catback, Nitto drag radials (only used at the track usually but occasionally driven on the street). I will eventually do all of the above but need to know what i should do after this summer. I do plan to run at th estrip during the year. Thanks for the help.

Personally, I would go for the cams and a tune. But it's all a matter of preference for you.

Depends really on what you are looking to do with the car.
Are you looking for more power and that lumpy idle? If so go with the cams and a tune. Are you looking to have a better track et? Go with some suspension work. Are you wanting a bad looking sound system ride? Go with the looks. It all boils down to where you want and invision your car to be. Personally I would go with a good suspension that you can tweek at the track i.e. adjustable shocks, with some decent springs and C/C plates. Maybe get some UCA and LCAs. Take your price that you have in your head/wallet, and find the most suitable combination as to what you want the car to do and most importantly feel like on the street. |
