Im Pissed...
Somebody keyed my car last night and i have absolutely no idea who it was. It was parked out in my drive way so whoever it was is pretty damn brave. I wish they would have set off the flood lights out by my garage i wouldve beat the **** out of them. Anyway the scratches are deep and go all the way down the driver side from the front of the door to the rear bumper and then they swirl around on the rear quarter panel. I cant post any pics right now but ive tried some scratch x and it helped a little... is there any better stuff that might kinda make it look a little better til i get a chance to get it fixed?

Since it is fuked anyways, you can try wetsanding the scratches out. 2000 grit and careful use could do the trick. I had some nasty scratches on my work truck that Meguiars 80, 83 and scratch x didn't work on. So, 2000 grit, a spray bottle of water and a little patience and they are all gone. Once you carefully wetsand the scratch, dry it, then follow it up with a good polishing compound or scratch x the hell out of it till the shine comes back.

I dunno that I would even TOUCH it until the insurance people came out and looked at it, cause if you go messing around and make it appear that you tried to fix it, they are libel to say, oh, well, maybe YOU did this while trying out your skills. Sucks to hear what happened man.
