Don't be fooled by those cars, they make good HP but don't run like they should! And I doubt that he got 32 hp from a tune and an exhaust, but who knows i'm no bmw expert! All I know is how to whoop that ass! I've run one or two back in my street racing days on motor and all they saw was mustang tail lights!...

It doesn't take much to make a mustang push 300 hp...a 4k blower will give you 400 hp?

I am a BMW tech and I can attest first hand that these cars are fast as hell, but you will spend A LOT more time getting them fixed than you ever would a Mustang. And for 50k plus new...you could have a WAY faster Stang for that price. I worked on one today in fact and put a catylitic converter on the 4-6 cyl. They have factory headers...one for each 3 cylinders with the cats right BEFORE the collector. The part alone was over $1500 and it cost the guy 6 hours of labor @ $105/hr. I will never gat a bimmer 'cause I drive them every day at work. I drove the M6 with the 507hp V-10 yesterday and THAT is one bad motherfuc%er. I have been working with these cars for about 7 years now so if anyone ever has a question about them let me know.

IMO M3's exhaust sounds like poop with or without a perf exhaust. You should hear BMW's V-10 rev up to 8500rpm's Its amazing.

Hey now...don't talk crazy now...lol An M3's exhaust sounds better in the car than it does outside of it IMO. Anyway...take this advice: Do not get a Bimmer that is out of warranty unless you have in the neighborhood of 3-5k a year for repairs and maintaining the damn thing. I get all the free labor I want and I STILL wont own one...I get a hella big discount on the way expensive parts...STILL..I want to drive more than I fix. All the bad stuff about BMW's that you hear is true...all of the good stuff you hear is usually true too..the car sucks you in then sucks you dry.

Dont be angry...if you saw the inside of our engines and then the Bimmers you would understand it all...6kengine vs. a 15k engine. I put a new engine into a Z4 and the bill was something like 17k dollars. I agree totally that they are neat high tech and fast cars...just a PITA to own anymore. If I had mad $$ you'd see BMW's entire M lineup at my house.
