What are some good Drinks?

Ok guys I am having a party on friday night for my birthday, and I am looking for some drinks that isn't the same old thing? I love Vodka, but I need something different. What do you guys think?

I used to be a bartender and I am a graduate of mixology school...so Long Island Iced Teas are good for parties IMO. Easy to make a lot at once and have enough for everyone already made...just dont add the cola in the big mix..it should be added seperately to each glass.

one of my favs: Ruby Red = Vodka, regular grapefruit juice and a dash of grenadein(sp), shake & pour over ice. tastes just like a glass of pink grapefruit juice

Long Islands for the win. That is my favorite drink in the world. Redbull and Grey Goose is always good. Jack and Coke. Another really really good drink is called a Red Headed Slut, or a Blonde Headed Slut. Kegs will always work too for when you are to drunk to see to mix..you can always find the tap.

one of my fav shots has gotta be jagerbombs. i think they have different names in the east and west coast.
1/2 Jagermeister + 1/2 Redbull! Hell yeah thats ome great stuff! Mai Tai's are pretty good but they are a bitch to make.

dont forget jello shots, always a crowd favorite.

For the "Let's take some shots" portion of the party... can't go wrong with the THREE WISEMEn; it is a mix in thirds of JIM BEAN, JACK DANIELS, and JOHNNY WALKER

This shot determines who the real men at the party are....

the SPODIE:

1 bottle dark rhum
1 bottle Canadian VO
1 bottle Blodka
1 bottle Bourbon
2 bottles Lucky Lager
2/3 bottle pink champagne
6 assorted colors of Kool-Aid
1lb kiwi fruit smushed
1lb seedless grapes, cut in half
1 mystery fruit (the black fuzzy sorta-mighta-used-to-be-a-plant-of-some-kind thing behind the fruit drawer that's warm despite being in the fridge for God knows how long. Fruit with personality is best)
1 5 gallon water bottle.

Add all ingredients together. Remove the shelves from your fridge and let it sit in the 5gal jug in the fridge until it changes color at least once. After that, each color change is a sign that it's getting more potent. The fruit at the bottom is mildly hallucinagenic. 1 small coffee cup of the SPODIE is enough to put most people into a cartoon world that lasts for several hours.

serious as GW is stupid. I made that a few times... someone always ends up trippin balls and everyone else is just too fugged up to make it home for a few days. We had a single party with like 50 people last 6 days straight on 1 5 gallon jug and 2 ounces of killer hash... course that was like 15 years ago when I still did sheyot like that.

I think about the craziest crap i ever drank was Snake Sake.

This was in japan, one of the bars i went to had a massive jug of sake, probably a 5 gallon jug. Coiled up dead in the bottom of it was a 6 foot long eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake(it was written on the label). And yes, they are venomous as hell, and yes, the venom does mix in with the sake.
needless to say that crap had BITE(ha!) But at 8 dollars a shot, i diddnt have ot too often, plus when he would move the jug little scales and flakes from the snake would get stirred up. kinda like pulp in OJ. lol

Did you know Absinth is legal in japan? It tastes like black liquorice. And they dont call it the green fairy for nothing, talk about a trip to lala land.

EDIT: the snake sake is not to be confused with Habu sake. Habu sake has a habu snake(also venomous), this was definatly a rattlesnake
