Default God subaru's are a pain to mod

My dad has a 2005 subaru baja turbo. He wanted to make it quicker so i figured a simple tune, intake, and uppipe and or downpipe would do it. No come to find out this doenst work with this. Some cars dont like certine intakes bla bla bla. Its soo gay why cant it be easy like all fords. Add a intake, exhuast and a tune and its a whole new animal. ****ing subaru's. Atleast they run forever.

Try checking out Turbo XS, they have alot of UTEC stuff for subi's you might be able to find something there. Also try a simple Turbo XS manual boost controller...$75 along with an intercooler upgrade like the STI top-mount...much bigger.

like i said we werent looking to much just a tune, intake upgrade, and maybe some exhuast work. As of now were just gonna do a drop in K&N, pull the intake silencer out (he wants to be able ot hear it a bit more, as you cant hear it at all now.) and get a flasher from cobb tuning. That should be good enough for this car err truck.

The place where my brother got his car supercharged (1.7KB, then went back and tuned it, making 366RWHP with 6psi non-intercooled!) also does alot of subaru work, in fact they are subaru first, mustang second... XXTuning is the shiznit if u live in CT, and they have a TON of fast subies...

not gonna happen ont he baja rusty. Found a tuner that is gonna kick the boost up from 12 to 16-17 psi and remap the fuel aand timing curves all for 300bucks. From a tuning company gonna get that and a intake and see how it is.

no its really a Legacy GT wagon but high up and with the bed, and the cool back part that folds down like the avalanches which my dad also has. He loves the rear fold down part. Makes the baja's bed about 2-3 feet longer when the backs down.

If your dad has an avalanche, why did he buy the Baja?

because he like the rear fold down option that it has like the avalache does. Plus its sporty so my mom drives it. Plus it gets almost double what the avalanche gets MPG wise. And because he can.
