Default Has Increased Gas Prices Changed Your Life?

Meaning, have you sold and bought a more conservative car? Do you carpool? Ect...

The minimum gas here on Hawaii is $3.05 gallon. I still have my cobra as my weekend warrior. I have a F-150 as a daily driver and the wife drives her minivan.

Honestly other than b****ing about higher gas prices, I haven't done anything different. Gas prices could go to $4.00 a gallon and I don't think I would change a thing (other than b****ing more).

I think $5 a gallon might be my breaking point where I would sell the F-150 and buy something conservative.

I've started walking to campus some days now. It's only like a 15 minute walk and I like to enjoy the nice weather so I would probably do it anyway. 2 minute drives aren't the best for the car also.

I don't fret over gas prices. Still drive the same way everyday. Out of my control so no need to get anxious.. Gas prices should drop again soon ( I Hope). There seems to be a cycle going on..

Hmm, I guess, but not for that reason. I took the 93 octane tune off my car, so I dont have to pay for the .20 more a gallon gas anymore. Wow...I save a whole 2.50 each fill up right Oh well, thats over 100 bucks a year I guess if I fill up once a week.

In a way.I've been thinking about getting a motorcycle endorsement, and w/ my monthly fuel costs DOUBLING I signed up for an ABATE course.I have no debt other than my car loan,so gas prices aren't THAT big of a deal.

Saudi arabia and those countries KNOW that they can freak us out by raising prices. If everyone just shut up about it(I'm NOT flaming this thread or anyone on these boards, i just mean ppl in general) the countries woudlnt feel as powerful.

I heard on the news that the owner of the gas company n saudi arabia lowered gas prices to $0.60/gallon. Thats not a typo. Its like when you were younger and bullies knew what would bug kids about things that bothered them, so they kept bothering them. But once it stopped bugging the kid, the bully stopped.

I am superbly irratated with gas prices. I have three cars: Suburban, my stang, and a company car. I have enjoyed a company car for 14 years, so I drive it whenever I can. I plan on using it as much as possible this summer.

My wife puts on 20k a year in the Suburban. I figure that is about $4500 per year in gas at $3.00 per gallon. That equates to $375 per month in gas.

Yes, I have been looking into getting a car with better milage. In theory, I could lease a new Altima for $199 per month, and the lease would nearly be FREE based on our fuel savings and I could still keep the truck. If gas were to rise to $4.00 a gallon, then I would definately jump on it.

I am in the process of being promotted and I loose the company car. My employer is supposedly giving me money to actually buy a car, but I don't know the details as of yet. If it works out this way, I will definately buy a 30 mpg+ car. I am sick of pouring the money down the drain.

I was deployed to Saudi Arabia. A gallon of gas was cheaper than a small bottle of water.

It hasn't changed anything for me....I just pay for it and go about my business cause there isn't really any other choice. I do take the train to work sometimes, but hell that's not cheap either....so either way I gotta fork out the cash. One thing I did tell myself is that I wasn't going to hammer the throttle as much.....which doesn't work cause there are too many punk azz ricers around here that need their azz handed to them.
