Default Took a spill....

On my Quad. I just bought a Honda 450R 3 days ago, and we were on some trails and there was a hill......well i massive hill. I hit it and when i was about 5 feet from the top i felt it stalling out....so i grab the clutch and pop it with the throttle and do a BACK FLIP!!!!....when i say backflip i mean me on the hill and bike soaring over me. It came down and the tire hit my arm and cartwheeled down the hill....prob about 50 Feet. I'm ok i hopped up with no problem but my plastics are all rashed up and the left side of my handle bar is bent about half an inch. I'm so pissed!!!!! :censored: I know now not to pop the clutch when on a hill and let it jerk you back....because it will do a flip very easily. It was brand new just 3 days ago!!!!! I guess i'm going on ebay now to look for plastics (not necessary but i kinda wanted it to look new for a while) and handlebars. Gald i could vent...

Sorry to hear about that man. I've had a few little tumbles myself on my atv. That's a really nice machine you've got there. I wanna get a YFZ450 this summer hopefully. You should get some Maier plastics. They're not all that much and they are quality. Usually they have lots of color choices too.

Here is what they've got on Maier's site for your 450.
