Default Cant SCAM Jack!!!!! HAHAHAHA

Hey folks, this is not really mustang related, but it can happen with any transaction or online purchase.

I put up a bullitin in Myspace looking for a roomate.

This is the responce i get.

========================
hello ,how are you doing?i will love to bw in MO for a while and will like to hang out with you.i will need to seetle the rent using a certified check issued by mu financial company.you will deduct rent for five months and will send the rest to my ticketing agent whicch i will provide his address later.get back to me with your decision so that payment can be done imediately,i will also want you to confirm the name and address you use in placing the advert,perhapes its the address you want the check sent to.
regards,
Mildred.
=======================

This is how the scam works. And i just got 3 more like it too. LMAO>

This guy claims to be interested, says he will send me a money order for a full year of rent, but he needs me to take out 5 months worth $2,200 and mail it to his ticketing guy.
I get the money order and give it to my bank, the bank will normally immediatly make the funds available to me while they seek the financial institution this came from and obtain the funds.
WHile they are doing this, i already have access to the full year of rent. So. I take out 2,200, write a cashiers check and mail it to his "ticket agent" which is actually him with a stolen identity. He takes the cashiers check and gets 2,200.
Meanwhile, my bank finds out the money order is bogus and **I** am responsible for paying back the 2200.

So, always keep your guard up this is an amature scame at best, but a lot of idiots fall for it.

Don't they have to have to be your friend to see your bulletins?

Yeah that's what I thought too. Strange. But anyways, never do money order. never never never. paypal or cash. money orders should ONLY be from family or very close friends that you trust deeply.
