Steeda parts overrated?

Steeda parts overrated?
Well when the time comes to beef up my suspension, I'm kind of looking into the Steeda parts. They have many "packages" for daily driving and for drag racing. They're high priced but are they worth it? I definately think it's true that you get what you pay for, but is Steeda suspension truly overrated?!?!

Depends on what you are willing to spend. Personally, id go for a maximum motorsports package over steeda, in the end id rather peice my own togeather. Price out a setup you would like individually, and then check out the difference between the packages.

I'm a big fan of buying proven packages over the mix and match method. This way all the things you get are meant to work together right out of the box. Also when you have tuning questions you can call the supplier and hopefully get answers.

maybe some of it but definitely not most. i've seen the steeda shop, they definitely make a lot of **** there.
as for brands, id use maximum motorsports over steeda.

When I do the suspension (look at the link a little above) I'm also going to do a gear change. Anything else I need to do the rear end while im there? Will be around 375RWHP when doing this.

I think Steeda makes some really good parts, but there are a few companies that do a bit better in certain areas. I like their stuff either way.
As far as your rear end goes.. wouldn't hurt to go with 31 spline axels and a new differential.. but I don't think it's necessary. I've known people to break stock rearends only pushing 250rwhp.. it's all in how you launch and what tires your on.

Well i've decided on the package from maximum motorsports. The link is a few posts above, looks like a great package and EXACTLY what I was looking for. But yea, i don't know much about my rear end if I need to do anything
