R3 and GT Johnny are right. 3.73's are the best for the road. They give good acceleration and yet still won't eat you out of house and home at the gas pump. 4.10s will drive your revs way over to the right, and at 3 bones/gallon, it just ain't worth it. Haven't done it on my Stang yet, but I went with 3.73's on my 71 Skylark, and a friend went with 4.10's. (Well, gas was under a bone, too. No comments on my age - LOL) Anyway, his left the line quicker for sure, but mine got me to/from college a hundred miles each way on the weekends.
