Wow.. That's an expensive piece of plastic. I mean it looks good, but that just seems really high.

Yea i have considered that. Stangmods also has it. Im thinking about buying that, along with the GT hood stripe and putting it on my babey. And nevermind, rockymountain **** is so much cheaper.

It's just vinyl.. It amazes me how much these places can actually sell the **** for.

I have the rockymountain blackout as does kevin (peeeeeecola) and it looks just fine. I'm going to have mine painted at some point, but it works great for now.

Id do paint but if i find out i dont like it, im fucked like chuck. And would have to repaint it or live with it, with vinyl after a few years and i dont like it, **** it ill strip it off. Btw would you guys recomend doing vinyl yourself or have someone else do it? Im a lil worried about air bubbles and placing, or tearing the vinyl.

****, tell me about it. I paid almost $150 for my CDC decklid panel, although it is on their website now for $129.00.

Looks ******* awesome, though.

Deathdiesel, I say go for it. I'm not a fan of the honeycomb, but I like that blackout panel in general.

its pure economics I guess people, cost will raise base on demand of product demand!

That much I did learn from 12th grade economics 101 from high school and it actually still applies this day and time!

Funny how I can't remember anything about economics class, yet I do remember having an "A" in it.

That's because it was from CDC.. They are a proven brand and they make quality stuff.

I think this is made by Stack racing or some random off-brand, you would think that their pricing would be more competitve.

Only the best for my dear Spooky.

I still think the price was steep as ****. Same with my SHR fuel door. Almost $140 for that thing... and the outside ring is already fading!

Yeah I cant see paying anymore than $75 for a fuel door, but they know people will pay it for that extra appeal

The one I got was the only one I really liked, hence me paying so much for it. I didn't like the others as much. I'd rather pay extra for something I won't regret down the road, know what I mean?

Deathdiesel, that will look awesome. Do it!

Full out rocky mountain. Had em on for almost 3 years now. I did honeycomb tails with a strip around each tailight to make it skinnier.

The door dingers can be a pain in the ***. There could be some hellacious faded paint under them. They don't bother me that much. I'd rather have them than a spoiler any day, but that's just me.

Okay, back to the original post:

I'm interested in getting the V6 honey comb deck blackout because I not only a V6, but I was planning on taking off my badges on the truck lid, and from what I've seen on AM's pictures for this product, it doesn't look like theirs a spot for the "Ford" oval emblem which I like.
