A year ago I replaced my front grille with one that deleted the fog-lights. After disconnecting them from the harness, I wrapped both plugs in electrical tape.

Now I'm re-installing them, however the harness does not appear to be working properly. The bulb is fine, and all the wiring looks to be in good shape.

Has anyone had this problem before? Could the electrical tape have any affect (i.e. melting) on the harness, since I live in Phoenix?

Basically: How do I get my fog-lights working again?!

 

I would start by check the fuses for the fog lights fallowed by all the connections to them, then clean out the connectors with a electrical connector cleaner. This is found at any parts store in a spray can.
