Default Non Mustang help

My friend's got a SVT Focus w/vortech supercharger. I guess lately it has been misfiring. He's tried changing plugs and wires. Still misfiring. Anyone have an idea of what else could be the problem? I was possibly thinking o2 sensors? The car has about 60 -70k miles or so.

Has he checked the coil as the focus has coil problems and causes just that when they go bad. Trust me I know from experience.

Is it me or are those cars ugly? LoL There is another website called http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/ that has it's own forum of SVT Focus's if you want to check it out. There is a lot of people on there, fast replys, and a lot of help there.

I believe he just replaced the coil. I'll double check though.

They aren't really ugly. It's a pretty cool little car.

I think I might have been thinking of another car, but eh I never had a thing for those shape of cars or even the Honda type too. But you can mod those type of cars really nice and light as hell. I like the one on the right in the last picture.

You should really out this website!

Ps. How far is Livermore, CA from Oregon?

Edit: Estimated Time: 10 hours 31 minutes Estimated Distance: 651.92 miles
I found out, my stupid *** could of map quest it. I think I remember going through there back a few months ago, taking a road trip down there. I took 101 instead of I-5 until I got to San Fransico. I miss it down there, although I've only been there once, well besides when I was a kid.

Almost no one with a focus posts there. Has he had the SES light come on?

Try checking the O2 sensors and see if they're gunked up or something. I know with my SVT it was always getting some build-up on it. I wouldn't see why that would cause it to misfire though...I would think it'd be the coil.

And never ever call the SVT an ugly car....once you drop it it looks sick. Especially with a center-exit exhaust like mine had

It seems like it was the newer plugs he put in. He changed plugs and I guess thats when the problem started. He put the old plugs back in and the problem stopped.

He just got the center exit exhaust. Does make it look pretty cool.
