Default T-lok and gear question

I recently received a t-lock that I ordered off ebay and it came with gears already installed in it and I was woundering if there is any why that I can tell what ones they are becuase if they are 3.73's then I'm just going to stick with that instead of getting 4.10's and save some cash.

He means the ring gear is still bolted onto the deferential. They should have numbers stamped on pinion gear.

Count the number of teeth and divide by the number of teeth on the pinion.

why not? if you find someone with good ratings and a high score, you shouldnt have to worry. ive bought many things off of ebay and they were good quality;

Did it come with the matching pinion gear too? Sounds like someone was just left the ring gear bolted on. Like BAssman said, if you have the pinion too then count the total teeth on the ring gear and divide by the total teeth on the pinion gear.

No I'm just stupid and didn't know what I was talking about I meant the gears on the inside there is nothing bolted to the outside of it. I have no previous experience with gears.
