Default Gear Installation Price

I've been shopping around for months for a shop to install my 3.90 gears and dyno tune it after. I live in Atlanta, and everyone has recommended Modular Powerhouse. My problem is that in all the gear threads I read, everyone says a gear installation should run about $100 - $250. But I can't get an estimate under $350. I already own the gears, the installation kit, and the bearing kit, so that estimate is just for the install and maybe some oil! Should I accept the prices in the Atlanta area or am I getting ripped off?

miles per hour can charge those prices because everyone knows them and knows it will be done right regardless etc

but if you're getting it done locally, i get mine done for 250 in the car, 150 if the axle is out of the car and the guy has been doing them for 10+ years

it all depends on who's doing the swap
