Flowmaster or SLP???
#3
people will say exhaust is all about sound and won't really help much with power, however I believe that it does a little bit and the more you mod the more it helps. With that said if your looking for a nice sound flowmaster isn't bad, but in my opinion it will do NOTHING for increased performance. Sound yes, performance no.
SLP is probably one of the best for performance, however some of their systems are just flat out annoying loud. The SLP LM1 should be freaking illegal it's so loud. I think the SLP LM II is a bit quieter and they also make a system with regular type mufflers that I haven't really heard in person.
I've always advocated for Magnaflow because I think you get a nice tone with added performance and a good quality system. I had magnaflow on my GT and Mach and really liked it.
Anyway, those are just my opinions, but go to www.mustangexhaust.com and listen to different combo's and figure out what you like.
