oh sorry. its 01' and well i found it out now after posting this and reading their guide. but i have another Q. whats a good battery for my car? its a 2001 V6 auto. and the battery is no good. its a p.o.s

94-04 is 9007 for headlights. For a battery optima is good I beleive its the yellow or red tops that are the good ones. Someone else will give an opinion on that I still just have my stock battery so I'm not much help on that one

Just get a replacement, unless you have a high output stereo or need the extra power for fans etc... at the drag strip you dont need a exspensive battery. I only have an optima cause i used it in my F150 at the drag strip to cool it down, and in my mustang now for the same reason.
