Oh man.... my head hurts..

has anyone ever looked through the myspace auto forum groups? yeah... it is just as bad as you would expect.

people discussing the virtues of the 2003 eclipse sports car....

people talking about having quad exhaust...

people talking about how they put an intake and exhaust on thier mustang and dyno 350hp

jesus....

I go on there once in a while and look to see if anyone has any questions about mustangs. normally by the time i see the thread they are so excited about the huge gains on the turbinators they ordered from other myspacers reccomendations it is rediculous.

and dont forget the occasional uglier than shit 19yr old ginger male telling some good lookin chick that she is nothing more than a bloodslow for tits cause she had the nerve to post.

gawd... had one from an alleged US vet who had a settlement coming in from the army who was claiming he was buying a ZO6, a VIPER, and a couple other older muscle cars and was gonna built a dragstrip on his property he was gonna buy and said the loan he was already approved for to build his dreamhome and dragstrip was 722,000, and his payments would only be 1,600 a month.

what is wrong with people?

i got it, i have a page and i check it a few times a week. got a lot of old military contacts and friends and it is an easy way to keep track of them... but other than that, yeah, i hate it...

i really feel bad for the kids who dont know of any real auto forums and go on there looking for advice, most of the crap that is spewed out over there is absolutly rediculous..

like how mechanical superchargers are a big ripoff compared to an electric supercharger and some turbinators, cause the EC/Turbinator combo gives more HP and Tq than a mechanical supecharger...

my one friend when on there 3 days later he comes up to me saying all this stuff about if your car has 4 exhoust tips is going to have more hp then if you have 2 tips.

then he tells me that my mustang has about 450hp. i stand looking at him in shock when he ask my whats wrong i ask him ware he read this stuff.

he had read it on myspace.

I love the nitrous posts in there. Someone will ask about "NOS" and then everyone says it will blow your motor and turbos are the way to go. Yet there all like 15-18 and have never even seen or used a nitrous kit before.

well spike the real problem with nos is that, when you hit it your car will go so fast it blows off your floorboards, and if your car is shot at the bottle of nos will blow it 15 feet off the ground......every1 knows that

I know thats why im scared to drive threw the hood. I dont want my bottles to get shot and have blue flames shoot out of my car. Plus im on my 3rd floorboard.

that is the only thing holding me back from nitrous, i dont have money to replace floorboards, plus im sure my gf would be terrified if the floorboard just fell out from under her
