Default Anyone know how to replace a gas hose?

The gas hose, the hose that goes from the gas tank to where gas is inserted, is leaking. I can get a hold of the part, but am unsure as to how it would be fixed without welding it. Anyone know how or have any suggestions? Thanks

Are you sure the filler neck needs to be replaced? Might want to check the rubber grommet that the filler neck slides into. Mines torn and leaks if the tank is completely full. Need to replace that this weekend.

Yeah it's probably just the rubber grommet then. My filler neck looked fine and nothing leaked until we dropped the tank to swap pumps and that's when r3d noticed the rubber grommet was torn. I just haven't been filling the tank up all the way in the mean time. Have you noticed your fuel levels being off at all or being kinda weird? Mine seems to be.

Where exactly is the level sensor? I'll probably tackle it this weekend and be done with it. Sucks having boost and this damn rain.

Are you trying to take the fuel line off of the fuel filter? If so, you need to get the little disconnect tool for a few bucks at an auto parts store. Open your gas tank, remove those three bolts, disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter that goes to the tank, then undo the straps holding the tank in place, but make sure you have a jack underneath it. There should be a couple harnesses to detach and such and the tank will drop right down. As it's coming down, have it lean towards the drivers side and then you can move it to slide the filler neck out. Hope that helps some.

Did you happen to buy the rubber grommet? If so, what's the part # for that?
