How Much Can I Expect To Spend?

How Much Can I Expect To Spend?
Ok Boys I have a 4.6 SOHC Motor in my 02 Stang and it has 73,XXX miles on it.
I'm getting ready to make this a nice blower car, and I need to know the following
I am gonna go ahead and rebuild the motor before I do anything, with forged internals. Wanting to run a F1-R or F1-C ATI Procharger, motor needs to be safe for 15-25 lbs of boost.
Diamond Pistons
Manley Rods
I understand the stock crank is forged, and can handle quite a bit of HP, so I assume it just needs to be turned right? I also hear the stock blocks are good for up to 1000 hp as well, so just need to get the block boiled, and machined, and cleaned, painted.
also what else can expect to put in the motor itself that's forged?
If someone can provide me with a list of parts I will need for just the motor (not to include injectors, transmission, fuel pump, and new fuel rails), I would appreciate it, and nice ballpark figure on how much it'll cost me.
Thanks

If you'll need the forged crank, karkraft.com is selling used ones for s decent price.

Yep. Then you've gotta build up the rest of your car so you can use that power. Good luck.

Let's see... not counting labor at several thousand, I've got easily 15K worth of parts alone that I've gone through. Make sure you know all the stuff that's going to break with the new power. I'd plan on at least 3000 bones just for a new tko tranny and clutch setup and another 1500 for rear end work, 1000 for the fuel system, another 2K for suspension and brakes, unlimited pesos for interior and paint... yeah it gets ugly fast.

As fun as this project sounds, the dollars will keep rising. a 22 lb Mustang requires an insane amount of work....lets not also forget the frame stiffen mods,a dn suspension mods to prevent that car from twisting. No one yet mentioned the $2k for the ported heads or the $1k for the cams yet either....might as well get those.
Now for the bad news, by the time you have spent $20 - $25k (perhaps) you still may have a ticking time bomb....one failed valve KABOOMB.
At the end of the day you might have $50k into this car (including the car itself) that will be worth about $20k. Sure, it will be faster then multi-million $ sports cars, which I must admit, might just make the project all worthwhile.
If you have the cash, want the glory of the build, then go get 'em. Otherwise, if you want a car that is faster then 99.1% of then on the road, slap a blower on it, run 10 lbs of boost and call it a day. OR, get a Cobra, throw on about $2k in bolt-ons, get a smaller blower pulley (or port or swap the blower), make 550 - 600 hp and be faster then 99.9% of the cars on the road and call it a day and still get most of your investment back out.
If you decide to get a built motor, contact Al Papito. For about $6k he can build you a great motor that could probably run 12 - 16 lbs of boost and this would be a nice nice option.
Whatever you do, good luck.
