Default New wheels or Gears/Tuner?

After I got this car last summer, this would be an easy question to answer. But now I'm so tired of looking at stock rims, I can't take it. With school coming up, I only have enough money saved up to make one more investment before I call it quits for awhile. If I did both, it'd be roughly 1200$+. Whatever I don't do now, I"ll probably do around winter or just after I bring her out next spring. What do ya think?

if you have the stock 17's, go with gears and a tune.

My motto is, all go and all show. When you got the money. :-)

But yeah if your going with wheels, i'd go with anything chrome, black on chrome just looks awesome. I'd change the headlights too, stock ones on 99-00 aren't too appealing in my opinion.

haha. I like the motto, but I need some flash for the ladies too. They don't seem to dig the whole "what's under the hood" around here. They're shallow. But gawd...I want that extra kick in the ass. I might have to randomly select a choice somehow.

yea shallow girls suck...and if they're nice swallow too. but anyways, i'd go w/the gears and take the rest of that time to pick out which wheels and tires ya want.

ive done both.

no girl would really talk about my car cause it looked stock. i had minor bolt ons. i sat them down in the seat and ripped thru the gears. each one said that they wouldnt have guessed it was a beast. lol. then i threw some rims on then every one talked about it.

me personally, i would go with the gears. i couldnt stand how long first gear was. lol 4.10's ftw

and about the shallow girls, i dated one, and dumped her just recently, she called my car more nick names than she ever called me by my first name. lol.

lol.

Way to stay on topic lol. Anyways. I think I'm going to stick with the gears and tuner for now. I can always hope that a good deal on a set of rims might pop up sometime. Thanks for the advice, especially zig lol. But keep me in mind if any of you guys decide you need to get rid of a set of 17" chromes!

a cheaper way to get rims for your stang is this. go to a local tire shop and ask if they have any mustang take offs from guys that just bought new rims. thats what i did and wound up with four bullit rims for $50 bucks each, toss in $60 worth of supplies and some work and bam....black bullit rims for half the cost. I did a very in depth write up on how to do it last summer, here is the link
http://www.mustangboards.com/show-sh...+black+bullets

or if they have to 99 chrome cobra rims and the clear looks all shitty, get some aircraft stripper, strip the clear and polish away. it comes out awesome...
