shifter changeing

hi gearheads
does anyone know the proper way to change out a shifter on a 07 gt?? how do you get at the thing? do take off the inside consel or what??,i am dumping the ford gearmasher. thanks

its a remote mount shifter so its mostly done from the bottom of the car.
