Default Squeaky

So, I replaced my belt and got rid of my old crappy tensioner. Now, when I start the car, I get a squeak until it warms up. The sound pulsates with each rotation of the belt and then after about 20 minutes is gone.

I think it is the belt because it goes away and not a pulley. How do I know? And, if there something I can do to cure the squeak?

Someone told me the same thing but using a lit candle so the wax will build up on the belt getting rid of the squeak.

i was told to use a bar of bath soap.. thats what my grampa told me to do..
but i guess they would all work. i know the soap does and i can see the crayon & candle working because they are wax

its wierd how many diffrent ways there are to fix one problem, and thay all work well too..

I tried the crayon trick. The squeak went right away and then just cam eright back. Not I have blue pullies and a blue belt. Hopefully I just dis not screw myself over. I am having nightmares now of having to pull everything off and clean it - lol

I did not use much crayon.....not even a 1/16 of an entire small crayon. I just hope the wax won't cause the belt to slip. The **** will probably just wear off and melt under heat.
