Default dont get mad but... i changed my mind again

well i know this is like my 4th post about changing my mind about the supercharger thing but ive finally decided to stay na. ive saved up enough money to get a used supercharger and ive thought about it long and hard and ive decided to stay na and get cams then build my rear beaf up the suspension and get slicks and maybe further on down the road get some nitrous but im not sure about that yet. so what exactly do i need for cams what is recomended. i know to stay away from patriot so im not going with them. so what should i get for the most power stage 2? and i should also get valve springs im guessing what should i go with for those all recomendations and information is welcomed, im still learning.

thanks and dont blast me for staying na lol

Since you got stock heads, there isn't much need to go past stage 2 cams. VT, Comp, Crane, and Crower are all good companies to look at. As for springs, they are needed w/ the stage 2 cams but usually not the stage 1 cams. Check w/ the cam company 1st though. In fact, your best bet is to call them up, give them the specs of your car, and they'll give you a cam to match it.

i knew it.... im kiddin. look below my name and read what it says. ima huge lush since i been here in korea.

its a big job your best bet would be to find all major parts like cams and springs than drop your car off at JLP, JDM, evolution, or kauffmans if you feel like driving that far. let one of those guys install them for you.

https://mustangboards.com/modular-4-...-yourself.html

there is some good info in there. i read everything that those had to give since i have a big project coming up in the next 6 months.

Like I said, call up Comp, Crane, or Crower and ask for a cam recommendation. You give them your approx weight, rear gear, auto or stick (if auto, what stall converter), intended usage/rpm range, cylinder heads (PI in your case), whether you have a stroker kit, etc. They will tell what to get in regards to specs and they will recommend springs.

alright cool thanks for all the advice guys
im gonna look into everything more tomorrow and sunday and start ordering stuff during the week i have to find some place to install every thing.

im gonna go with whatever cam i decide on and get headers the headers im gonna prob do myself but i dont think i want to try and tackle cams.

and by the way what kind of power will i gain with the cams i know it wont be like an unbeleivable amount but im just wondering. the mods i have now are in my sig.

and also after cams and headers what other things can i do to get more power all motor?

i was reading some stuff online and talking to some people and ive been told that would see better gains/performance with stage 1 cams. just because i have stock heads and pistons and and what not. what do you guys think about that?
