Quick Question Please!!
Hey Guys,\!! Im Symon!! ...so I Am 17 Yrs Old And I Drive A 2000 V6 Mustang , Kinda' High Mileage! So I Was Thinking To Save Money So I Can Swap But, I Dont Know If I Should By Another V6 And Bore It Out With Stage 2 Cams And Turbo Or Supercharge The V6 Or Buy A 48 Motor And Swap That In?! But In Order To Put A V8 You Need A New Ecu, Radiator, Motor Mounts And Etc. Etc. So Wouldnt It Be Cheaper To Turbo Or Superscharge V6 Motor?!?!
Please Help Me Out!! What Do You Guys Think?!?!
---thanks!!!

I would turbo charge the 3.8 then to do a motor swap, and the turbo 3.8 will make more power then a n/a swapped SBF. Granted it might cost a bit less for a v8 swap but thats just gonna be a stock sbf vs. a turbo 3.8 and the turbo 3.8 will walk all over a n/a sbf.

you know what to do... figure out your budget, decide which way you're going to go and stick with it. Either direction is one that lands a new motor under the bonnet so, as they say... pick one. Turbo v6 would be my choice.. but add in a beefier tranny and a 8.8 in back.

First off stop using caps locks or we will kill you lol. For 4k you can get the turbo kit new or used ( i would around for a good used kit first if it was me) and get that and your fuel mods etc... going. the 3.8L is strong and i dont know how high your miles are but if your really worried about it a junkyard 3.8 can be had for less then 500bucks shipped to you.
Or you can get a used supercharger for pretty cheap and go that route and have money left over to get your tranny worked on if its slipping etc.. I mean you have a few routes to go with, but figure ruffly just 1K of that for fuel upgrades (injectors, pump, maf,) and a tune will run around $1,000 you can do it less if you go with used parts. Dont be afraid of used injectors and a maf.
