Default Fidanza 2.1 Clutch---Any Good?

I have the mods in my sig and I plan on spraying in a few months. How would this clutch be for that purpose. I have heard a lot of bad things about spec. I am afraid to spend a bunch of money on a bum clutch.

i have heard more horror stories with fidanza than anyone else. especially on their flywheels. spec was bad with letting bad clutched get through inspection a while back but they tightened up with that. Id look at mcloud if you got a few extra bucks, or go with centerforce.

Lots of people enjoy the King Cobra Clutch. I have a auto but i've never seen anyone unhappy with it.

One brand that no one every mentions: Hays. When I replace mine, I'll probably replace it w/ a Hays since I've only heard good stories about them.

The only reason why I have heard bad things about SPEC is because the person either didnt resurface or replace there flywheel therefore giving them problems. I just bought a SPEC stage 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel last night.

Plus im not sure about other brands because i havent researched them but i do know that with SPEC you can buy replacement disks for the clutch and inserts for the flywheel making it so that you may never have to replace it again.

Call up my boy Chris at Apex Motorsports and get one of their dual friction kevlar custom clutches. I've never found a stronger or better clutch for a steet/strip car without going full race and losing streetability.

No, I'm not affiliated with them in any way other than as a customer. That being said, they have proven themselves to me every time I've dealt with them.
