Default Warrenty

If i get new x-pipes will that void my warrenty? It will have high flow cats on it!

no, unless it is the direct reason of a malfunction on your car.

yes it will make it alot louder. but its a good loud, not obnoxious loud

I had a Mustang that I was concerned about a warranty I would not modufy anything. That's just me....too many horror stories.

If I was leasing my Mustang, I would not touch it at all.

I cant help it! Its my first muscle car! When i take the car to get serviced ill prolly put the stock H-pipes on! Just to be on the safe side! The dealership already ok'ed the weld-on mufflers so i got that all cleared up with them!

I hear ya....but like I said, if warranty was an issue, I would leave it alone. I know what the shop said, but shop managers don't approve warranty work. And is push comes to shove, unless you have something in writing, the shop owner will side with Ford.

Don't get me wrong, I think you are doing the write thing by communicating with the shop and that will improve your chances of not having issues.

If I were concerned about the warranty, I might be inclined to use only FRPP parts and have the dealer install.

I bought my stang a few years used. I paid for an extended warranty. About three months later after realizing the car was fine, I started to mod and then cashed-in my warranty. I got about 95% of my money back.
