I bought a pair of side scoops like these and I used 2 sided tape to keep them on like I was told, but as I was going like 45mph or so one just flew off, lucky my nephew was able to get it before it was rolled over. Any ideas on how to keep them on without flying off??? Please let me know....
Thanks alot, ![]() |

you may need to go to ford and get some new plastic retaining clips from them. Your old ones are prolly worn. If not then you probably didnt rub alchohol on the paint where you stick the tape.

Yeap that may be a prob. I have the same scoops but you must wipe off all wax and residue from the two sides that the tape will be making contact with. If you just wash it with water and soap that is not good enough. Get some Dawn soap to clean it first then wipe it with rubbing alcohol or similar product. I have had mine on for 6 years and it has not moved.
