Default Spongy Clutch Pedal?

It has gotten pretty cold lately where I live and in the morning's my clutch pedal seems spongy, kinda like sqeezing airbubbles. The clutch engages just fine, but I can't figure out why is feels like this. Ideas?

The cable could have shrunk due to the weather. Try adjusting it.

If you have an aftermarket than adjust it at the tranny. You tighten it to make it grab near the floor or you loosen it to grab at top. If you have a stock cable than you cant adjust it at the tranny. What you do is put it in
1st while car off and left up on the clutch pedal and it should adjust.

If you have the stock quadrant (which I assume you do), you lift the clutch pedal up and then press down on the clutch gentle until it reaches the floor. Keep on pushing it down until you stop hearing the clicking.
