Default 07 GT Gear Option

I was just messing around on Fords website and "building" and 07 GT and there is an option for 3:55 gears for manual transmission only. So what gears do they come with if you don't selet the 3:55 gear option?? I'm pretty sure the 05 & 06's came with 3:55 gears.

ha ha....I guess it's just another way for them to charge you $100 for something that already comes on the car...weird

bwahahhahahahaha... figures. Yeah... I'm pretty certain that all the manual v8 cars come with 3.55's. I really like the 3.55 gear myself. It doesn't destroy first gears usefulness but 5th gets the grunt to accelerate up the sunol grade without downshifting or losing patience.

If you don't pay the 100 bucks you get the 3.31's the autos have. Ford may be trying to jack people, but they may just want to give people the option, like for people who do alot of freeway driving and are concered about mileage.

Ah I see.....Well, if they want to give people options, how about a 3:73's or 4:10's now that would be sweet.

You've got 3.55s, it wasn't an option until 07.
