Angry badge problem!

while I as at work someone stole the red white and blue pony badge from the side of my stang...but they only took one! it left a hole in the fender where the badge was, I got all the 3m tape off but now it looks stupid. I was told by a buddy of mine that I can fill the hole and paint it? is their a guide or does anyone know how to do this?

or is it safer to take it to a body shop and pay for the filling?

Hahaha, ditto. You'll more than likely have to get a pair, but there's a TON of nice fender badges out there. I just bought a set of Saleen badges and they're probably the most expensive you'll find, but I got em' for $35. Might as well customize it while your add it

to be honest, I dont like the the red white blue striped behind the pony. what is a good place to look for a replacement? if I could just get a pony without the stripes, that would be good

Obviously there's a way, but if you want to do it on your own I'm not realy sure. A body shop will want to, sand down the entire fender, fill hole, re-sand, prime for paint, paint, and clear coat. Probably at least $500 for both fenders.

50resto.com has an assortment of badges that come with sticky stuff already on them. I've had to replace mine more than once.
