Default Finally got the rattles all taken care of... well mostly

Yep... for like 6 months I've been driving around with my mufflers supported by rigid mounts. For anyone that hasn't done that... don't. It sounds like a socket rattling in a coffee can every time you hit a bump. Yesterday I finally broke down and drove the 3 blocks to Kragen and got some nice universal exhaust hangers and hooked them up. They took a little modification to connect properly but the car is once again quiet enough for me to hear all the other bizarre sounds it makes. I even greased up all my coil over spring ends and zerk fittings... the car is ready for a major break down now .. hahhahaha

I also ordered about 500 bucks worth of goodies from Summit, AN fittings and lines, tools, ARP main studs, rod bearings, ARP balancer bolt, ARP cam bolts, etc... just all kinds of random stuff I needed to finish up various projects. Now I can finally make some headway on all those lingering projects.

Anyone interested in an improved PCV oil air separation system? Uses AN lines and aftermarket upper plenum. Really tight looking. If there's interest I'll make them for 20 bucks plus costs for anyone that wants one.

Think you can make me one. But Remember my plenum you cant unscrew that one piece.

I'd also like to see what it looks like first

Yep... I've ordered parts for a setup like yours already. Hopefully it'll look ok. Going from hose barb to AN is sometimes a little wonky. What PCV inlet do you have? the big one or the small one?

I'm supposed to have a small one but I made a sleeve so my small hose will fit on the big PCV inlet on my plenum

is it a OEM ford plenum? if so I can just tap my spare one for NPT and give you the whole thing threaded instead of using barb-AN adapters.

If it's not OEM, would you consider drilling it out and tapping it to hold a 1/2" NPT coupler (not hard) so we can eliminate all the barb stuff?

Here's what I made:

Here's how it all ended up. Braided lines and AN fittings all the way so it looks good at least. The new motor is going to be loaded with braided lines instead of rubber and plastic.

Here's how the filter sits next to the CAI.

And this is mostly just fluff. You can see the filter better here. It looks cool inside the filter when you whack the gas. You can see oil falling out of suspension in a fog.

Ice, I'll have a quote for yours shortly.

So, there's about 65 bucks in lines and fittings, 24 bucks in the filter and 30 bucks for me to put it together. Expensive but it'll look soooo cool. For teflon lines it's another 20 bucks.
