Default How To Turn Off the Seatbelt Chime!

to tell you the truth, i dont even hear mine. people get in and say wtf is that noise? what noise? oh, thats the seatbelt warning...

I did that about a year and a half ago. One of the BEST mods you can do. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

The light is still on, but it stops chiming,

just buckel up and un buckel..it turns it off for that drive session

I jus reached under the seat and unplugged the wire before i drove mine off Fords lot.

you know...i am just going to throw this out there but...you could try wearing your seatbelt at all times when driving...i mean that may be a stretch but u can try

lol even though i wear mine all the time i might do it...

In all honesty I do wear my seatbelt. But when Im working on my car with the door open or just hanging out in my car with a girl listening to the radio Its nice to not have an annoying ding every minute

thats what I was gonna say....now theres proof no one reads the owner's mauals. It's one of the first things I do...and we suggest this to all our BMW owners who dont bother to read it.

this chime isnt necesarrily for seat belts but also when leaving a door open for cleaning or something if your listening to the radio, if im not mistaken

depends on the year... i believe anything from 2002 or 2003 and newer thats true, but anything older and it doesnt shut it off.

the door chime is something different cause mine still chimes....and ya buckling and unbuckling doesnt do anything in my 03
