Default Transmission Break in period

Alright I just had my automatic transmission rebuilt to heavy duty specs. May God have mercy on my soul if I can blow this one up. Now I want to do this right so is there a break in period I should be aware of and if so how do I drive this beast and for how long?

I've been told... after install... go out and beat on it...

if it breaks... it would have in the future... so take it back...

if not you're set

So I can't imagine its bull...

If it was mine... I drive it hard for 100 miles... that way if it breaks I go straight back to the guy who installed it...

No theres deffinitely a break in period. Same as rear end gears. I know the gears need to settle (polish each other) and heat up and cool down a few times for seating. I'm hearing 500 miles of mild driving.

Not sure on the Tran's but gear's don't need any break in time.
