ok its time
i have some money saved up about 700 it will be a little over a thousand by the end of the summer. so now im ready to do maybe one or two mods i already have an x pipe and exhaust i was thinking maybe headers and gears. im not sure wat headers to get i have both slp rite now so idk if i should do slp headers (mighty expensive) or not idk what fits with what i have. and i was also thinking motive gears either 3.73 or 4.10 idk anything about them but those seem to be wat everyone gets soo. any help on what all of this will cost with parts and install would be appreciated. and if anyone has any other suggestions on what mods to put on then please share with us lol thanks guys

all you have is exhaust so far? No other mods, not lowered, no cobra brakes, etc...? Tell me if that assumption is wrong otherwise, my recommendation is:
cobra brake kit: 400 (install it yourself... stupid easy)
gears, FRPP or Motive: 500 (should be about that installed, pay no more than 250 for installation)
Shifter (Tri-ax, MGW, Pro5.0): 100 used. Install yourself.
The brakes you'll thank yourself for every day. Gears make it a lot more fun and the shifter makes quick shifting really quick and keeps you from grinding 3rd.

If you decide to go with gears get FRPP gears ... join CJMF and go to bell ford and have sergio install them for u. They only install FRPP and there service is half off if ur in CJMF. Yay for NJ mustangs

really depends on what kind of supercharger you go for and where your engine builds max power. If your power band is really high like a 4V cobra or a drag only car then 4.30's are ok... but with a 4400rpm tq peak... 4.10's are more than enough. Similarly, with centrifugal blowers that build power with RPM, more gear helps. With roots and twin screws and turbo's that get to full boost really quick, higher gearing is better. With a twin screw, I'd probably go to something like a 3.73 for street duty.
