Whats everyones thoughts on aftermarket mirrors?

I've seen some around and i was wonderin what everyone thought of after market side mirrors?

Depends, i dont think ive seen aftermarket mirrors for mustangs except painted mirrors like the 04 40th packages and cobras had.....

ive only seen the ones with like the added signals in then and personally i think its a waste of money

Ya know what, if you like em get em. Personally, i dont like them much. just seems a bit too futuristic or something.....

You know you have to adjust those manually right? I'd rather have powered mirrows, then ones that blink andhave to be adjusted manually.

If you have enough creativity and committment, you could probably custom install blinkers into your stock mirrors..can't be THAT hard.

The ones in the ebay link look kinda ricey to me but that's just me. I'm sure someone has a car that looks good with em' on.

Save your money and get something useful. Save bling for last.

They have ones like that on e-bay that are powered. I just ordered a set a couple days ago that are carbon fiber/w the LED and powered. I'll post pics for you when they come in and I install them. I have a tracking # thats says I'll recieve them by the 2nd.

They look pretty ricey to me but hey, they might turn out good. Ive always liked the side marker turn signals so when you are switching lanes, some moron doesnt swerve over fast without his blinker and almost smash into you. It should be pretty visible that you are trying to turn into the other lane.

I saw a set of the m3 mirrors on a white v6 with a black window body kit and 15 inch wheels, and needless to say it looked horrible. just paint the mirrors that you have now or get the 03 cobra ones

any1 got detailed instructions how to put them on or atleast how to take off the housing and put them on and the wiring diagram to hook the led's uP?

For access to mirror wiring, remove the door panel (easier that way).

For mirror removal, pull off your speaker covers (for Mach 460 door tweeters) to get access to retaining screws, remove retaining screws, remove mirror.

Wiring for the LED's is up to someone else...
