Not a "dis" to MT.com by any means. (X-Cal 2 tune related.)
Looking to buy either the SCT X-Cal2/Steeda CAI combo or the SCT X-Cal2 and JLT CAI II individually, from MT.com, in the next week. My question is, as knowledgable and helpful as the MT.com staff is, is the tune that is provided by them/you (depending on if you work for MT.com or not as you're reading this) comparable to one that I would get from taking the X-Cal2 and either CAI from them, to a local speed shop to be tuned?
If not, would it be close enough, to not really warrant the cost of taking it to a speed shop?
Lastly, (I think) does the MT.com tune get rid of the "drive-by-wire feature" too, and do I need to specify whether or not I would want you to keep the Trac Control on or not? (I would want it kept.)

you cannot beat a dyno tune...
A handheld tuner is simply a convenient handheld baby dyno... Cant tune nearly as well... but can tune damn good... whenever you want... and only pay once... as opposed to paying everytime ya go to dyno

Mail order tunes can be soooo off sometimes.. and it's not the tuners fault at all.. it can just be hard with some tunes, depending on the car/mods. My friends lightning had a mail order tune and the a/f wasn't where it needed to be.. it was pretty rich. he took it to the same shop that did the mail order tune and they pulled like 40rwhp more out of it and fixed the a/f ratio. dyno tune ftw
