Hey folks.
im trying to find a beater. I found a 92 explorer with 90k miles on it for 600 bucks. everything is supposedly good, except the BRAKE system is totally shot. anybody have a rough guestimate as to how much a worst case scenario for BRAKE repair could cost? havent heared back from the guy. also, i probably can do it on my own, i got some buddys that would help me out. |

Sorry I am a word freak! BRAKE is what you mean not BREAK. BREAK=BROKEN BRAKE=brakes as in things to stop your ride.
So, do the brake work yourself....its easy to do no matter what you have to replace. |

LMAO!! Thanks for the word repair...and yes I think almost anyone should be able to do major or minor brake system work. I guess aside from running whole new hard lines or something, but that's possible to do as well for a non-pro tech. What's the worst case scenario? 99% of it doesn't require any special tools or skill to do.
