Default Trouble!!!!

The other day i went to start my car and it started then it sputtered and died, then i tried to start it again and it started and then died again, now it will not start. The fuel pump works and the fuel filter is good. It's an 89 mustang LX with a throttle body. I think that it might be the distrubtor becuase the battery is new, a couple days old, and the alternator is also good. Any help would be wonderful.

Does it die as soon as you move the key from crank to run? If so mabye you have an ignition switch problem??

The car won't start at all anymore, but before it would start and run for about 30 seconds then die.

another real common problem for your year of 'stang is the ignition module and pick-up coil. the module is mounted on the side of the distrubitor and the pick-up coil is inside the distributor. I recommend to replace them both at the same time. Check your spark, if you dont have any it is likley they have failed.
