Default engine problem

i'll do my best to describe what my car is doin, i'd definitely appreciate anyone's input!

the main problem is on start up. i'll get in my car and go to turn it on, and it won't turn over, so i have to let off, and then try again, then it usually starts right up. however today it didn't even start up on the second, it took three tries to get it to turn over. I have heard several different opinions however i was told to come here to get one of the better opinions. information i should probably include is that the engine does idle a little rough, not much. anyone got a good idea of what this could be?

Sounds like an EGR problem possibly. Unplug it and see how the car runs.

EGR Valve, its by your throttle body which is the metal thing with a running horse stamped on it, in the middle of your engine.

I highly doubt it. The closest thing an EGR problem could be is that the valve is stuck open, and still, the engine would crank over, but would eventually stall seconds after. Out of curiosity, when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?
